Nu Chapter of Sigma Nu at the University of Kansas

Expanding for the Future

Since 1884, the Nu Chapter of Sigma Nu has thrived at The University of Kansas. The current fraternity house, built by a former Kansas Governor in 1907, has been home to the Nu Chapter of Sigma Nu since 1922.

When the Chapter approached KSQ to expand the house in 2022 - our team began brainstorming ways to increase usable space while maintaining the homes' original charm. After several planning sessions, the Chapter chose a scheme that enlarged the dining room, created additional study space, and improved the narrow circulation between rooms. Additionally, this scheme creates a presence for the porch and increases accessibility for students.

The project is set to be complete in 2024.
