Florida Atlantic University Atlantic Park Towers

Amenities Fit for the Modern Student

The KSQ Design team assisted Florida Atlantic University with revitalizing the Boca Raton campus’ residential facilities by creating a modernized seven-story student housing facility. The facility uses a progressive housing model with age-appropriate unit types and amenities to meet student enrollment growth. The master planning approach fits the required parking and other outdoor amenities around the housing within the physical campus limitations.

In phase I, 525 beds of semi-suites are in two wings with a glass bridge connector providing a compact footprint to preserve space to the south for future development. The building features gathering spaces both indoors and outdoors, a fitness center, and study spaces for students to create community. The thoughtful design of community spaces enriches the student life experience while incorporating sustainable concepts throughout the project.
