Inspiration Hall at Gillette College

Strategic Solutions for Increasing Residency

Increasing the proportion of students that are able to live on campus is a strategic goal of Gillette College furthered by the creation of the Student Housing Phase II project. Located in Gillette, Wyoming, this new, 140-bed residence hall and 200-seat dining facility works toward the college’s goal of growing its residential base and creating a critical mass for on-campus activity. The dining hall provides six platforms with a variety of offerings such as Italian, Asian and Homestyle. Diverse seating environments allow students, faculty and staff to choose their unique dining experience which may include dining theater-style near the Grill venue or sitting with a group of friends at a large communal table in front of a warm fire. Co-located with the dining facility, the three-story residence hall features first-floor amenities such as a large community room with game tables and generous seating, a lounge zone and plenty of space to spread out homework and plug in a laptop. Lounges and study spaces complement the student suites at all levels. The unit plans feature two double bedrooms sharing a jack-and-jill style bathroom.
